Who is Chris Kerr?
I help global brands create meaningful and accessible digital experiences by aligning their core sector-specific search intent with strategic content ecosystems and robust technical foundations. My focus is on building authority—both onsite and offsite—through scalable, insight-led SEO strategies that integrate seamlessly with broader marketing, product, and user experience initiatives.
Across my career, data has been the foundation of every decision. I specialise in turning search behaviour and performance signals into actionable insights—guiding cross-functional teams across content, UX, and media to drive sustainable visibility and long-term business value. My strategies blend technical SEO, content creation, digital PR, and performance amplification across paid and owned channels to fuel organic growth.
Currently, I help lead PayPal’s global SEO strategy as an Organic Director at SYZYGY, overseeing cross-continental teams. Prior to this, I held senior SEO leadership roles across Havas Media Group, Croud and leading agencies within Public and Omnicom Groups directing international strategies for clients in finance, eCommerce, luxury, sport, health and B2B.
Outside of work, I’m driven by curiosity—deeply inspired by contemporary art, design, photography, and the intersection of sport and culture. I hold UK, Irish, and Canadian passports and am always seeking new ways to experience and understand the world around me.
